I came to the office at 8:10 for an 8:20 appointment. I wasn’t seen until 9:45. Unacceptable for the first appointment of the day!
He was very thorough and looking over last year's labs and adding what needed to be checked this year, you could see he took a lot of time to think about what he wanted to do differently
Everyone at the facility but Dr. Azzi was amazing. All appointments were NOT on time and all the workers were scrambling and kept apologizing. They did so on their own without me mentioning anything. They also asked if I was told to come 30 min earlier and I said yes and they said they have got to tell people to stop that and asked if I could complain. My appt was at 320pm. I was told to come at 250pm and I did not see the doctor until 5pm. He was not friendly, did not say sorry for the wait, asked med questions, did not listen, seemed to be tired and over it. He told me to follow him and have a seat in a chair and walked off. He did not say good bye nor tell me he was leaving me there to draw blood for tests. I would not recommend him at all or the facility until they get the schedule on track. All the nurses and front desk though were exceptional and kind. They said the need another doctor to help with all they need to do each day. Again they told this to me on their own and without me asking. As I sat in the waiting room other customers were complaining about wait times, etc. It was not a good experience and I am already nervous about medical things I have going on and this did not help. I could not wait to get out of there and do not feel like I learned what i should be doing and have been since then googling and learning more about my condition which is wrong but I seem to have no chance of time with my doctors to learn from them.
Very personable and friendly. Relieved my anxiety.

Dr Azzi was GREAT.......he just needs to manage his time better and not leave a patient in exam room for over an hour without being seen....nobody dropped in to advise of a delay.....just sat there staring at the wall for over an hour!!

After doctor exits, Dr Azzi has soooo many patients to care for … one day husband was number 37 !!!! Poor doctor had no time for a sandwich!!!! Serious overload for ANYONE TO HANDLE!!!

He is always warm and comforting.

I was instructed to arrive by 1:30 for a 2 pm appt. I arrived at 1:10. Dr came in to see me at 3:10! He had apparently not reviewed my chart until he was in the exam room. As this was our first visit, and lots going on with my medical situation in last 6 weeks, this took a while. I was very anxious having waited so long.
Dr. is good. Wait time is bad. Availability of appointments is terrible. Had to wait two months.

The doctor I was assigned this time truly did not meet my expectations. I had a lot of trust in and worked very well with Dr. Michael Vélez. Ever since he left, they have changed my oncologist twice, and I don’t know if there are internal problems at the hospital, but the oncologists keep leaving or retiring for some reason. They cancel my appointments, switch me to different oncologists, and honestly, I am not happy at all with this doctor. I am going to try to find another doctor.Maybe it was a bad day for him, or maybe for me as well, because the wait was an hour and a half, which was way too long, and I was already very upset because I had to get back to work. I would not recommend him.

My appointment was at 3:45pm which you ask us to be 15 minutes early. I got there at 3:25. I FINALLY saw the doctor at 5:30. 2 hours later. Maybe you need to get some help for Dr. Azzi . That's just TOO much to ask of sick patients

Dr. Azzi is an excellent hematologist and a great person. He is clear, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes you feel confident and well cared for. From a medical perspective, I highly recommend him — he is truly an A-level physician.The only issue I experienced was with the appointment scheduling system and front desk coordination. At times appointments are canceled or changed without clear communication, and the scheduling process can be confusing and frustrating.However, once you see Dr. Azzi and his medical team, the care and professionalism are outstanding. I strongly recommend him as a doctor, and I hope the office scheduling system improves because the quality of the physician certainly deserves it.

I usually have to wait 45 minutes to 75 minutes from my appointment time until the doctor is available. This happens every time. So, it would be nice if I didn't have to wait that long.
